JACKLINE N. SILAI

Senior Teacher

Studied teaching at Kitale Cedar and she has been teaching for 8 years and hopes to upgrade her studies to degree level in the near future. Her mission is to nurture young children’s talent and ensure a high quality of learning and understanding, whilst striving for excellence. In her free time she enjoys watching and listening to music, being happy and playing with children.

ADELAIDE M. KATONI

Teacher

Studied teaching at Premise Africa Institute College and has been teaching for 10 years. She is an open-minded individual who enjoys discovering and learning new things. Specifically interacting with different teachers to engage in new methods of teaching the curriculum. A class with Adeliade is a way for any student to learn more about themselves. She enjoys listening to music and working with children.

ELIAS KASSIM

Teacher

Studied teaching at Ugenya Teachers Training College and has trained at the Kenya School of Music. He has been a teacher for 3 years and is pursing further education in Information Technology at NETPAL Institution. A diligent, determined go-getter that believes hard work is the key to success. In his spare time Elias enjoys composing his own music, socialising and drawing.

PHYLIS SANJA

Teacher

Studied at Busia Teachers College and thoroughly enjoyed the course as it was an interesting way to learn and meet teachers from all over the country. She has been teaching for 7 years and enjoys the interaction and social aspects involved with working with children. Currently the pre-school teacher she has an adept ability for identifying children who are excelling or struggling in class and adapting the curriculum to suit the individual student. In her free time she is a wife and mother to four daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, singing and dancing.

CHRISTINE NZILLA

Assistant Teacher

Having studied information technology at St. Hillary College, she has been an assistant teacher at our school for one year and has consistently brought passion and dedication with her each day. She loves interacting and socialising with the children. In her spare time she enjoys singing, dancing and playing football.

SILVIA IMINZA

Chef

Loved by students and faculty alike, Silvia is the chef at Kilele School and in charge of preparing the daily meals. She has been with us for about a year now and brings a loving and enthusiastic nature to the kitchen. When she isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, dancing and travelling.

HARRIET MUHONJA

Intern

Amazingly energetic and driven, 
our intern at Kilele she completed her education at Dulos Computer College. A large help in the computer room she is perusing ECD training. During the day Harriet assists with daily teaching duties and has the opportunity to gain hands on experience from our team of teachers. She loves children, singing and dancing.
